We’re hiring a Trainee Producer

Are you interested in working with artists and being part of a small, dedicated Gallery team? This Bethlem Gallery traineeship will give the successful applicant the opportunity to develop a career as a producer in the field of visual arts, and build their skills and experience through direct involvement in commissioning artists.

This is an 8-month targeted positive action traineeship for someone from a global majority background. People from this background are currently under-represented in the creative industries. A DCMS report from 2016 reported that 11% of jobs in the UK’s creative economy were filled by Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) workers.  In London, 23.4% of creative economy jobs are filled by BAME groups, compared to 32.9% of jobs outside the creative economy

Bethlem Gallery has been commissioned to produce and manage the Art Strategy for two new hospital buildings. This role will work on this project, supported by the Gallery’s producer and wider team.
