Tending to Care
Bethlem Gallery
12th August – 21st August 2020
*Please note this programme is only open to people using the Bethlem Royal Hospital site (Patients, service users & staff)
Bethlem Gallery invite you to this temporary space of rest, ideas, conversation and connection. It’s a space where we might slow down and pay attention to ourselves, to others, to our bodies, to the world around us both immediate and from a distance.
In response to traumatic experiences felt by everybody during COVID-19, we feel it’s important we use our resources and relationships to tend to the people and things around us that make up the hospital ecosystem. Rooted in practices of care and collectivity, we bring together artists, gardeners and musicians connected to Bethlem Royal Hospital to offer possible antidotes to help us through these times.
