Join Elsewhere exhibition artist Daisy Young for a printing workshop exploring the colour fast properties of the native wildflowers found around the grounds of Bethlem gallery and beyond.

In the workshop we will forage for wild flowers and before using their natural dyes to print onto fabric.

Daisy is a Turf Projects artist. In developing work for ‘Elsewhere’, she searched for inspiration within the grounds of the Bethlem Royal Hospital to find new motifs, colour palettes and textures. She explored these new discoveries by using fabric and stitch to create a series of colourful kites to signify memories of childhood, open spaces and play.

About Bethlem Gallery workshops

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Concessions are available for SLaM service users, people over 60, students, people receiving ESA, people registered disabled and their carers.
