Mixed media workshop with Amber Roper from the Blühen Studio

Wednesday 17th August, Bethlem Gallery
10am-1pm

Join artist Amber Roper from the Blühen Studio to create your own unique woven artwork.

Amber Roper has been commissioned by Bethlem Gallery to create a series of artworks for the Family Rooms in New Douglas Bennett House, the new adult centre on the Maudsley’s Denmark Hill campus. Read more about this project here.

Amber is inviting people with experience of accessing adult
mental health services to help her develop her commission. During the free and relaxed mixed media workshop you will have an opportunity to experiment with weaving, collaging and yarn-wrapping techniques and chat about how the new artworks should make the space feel.

Who can attend?
Anyone who has experience of accessing adult mental health services or supporting their loved ones to do so. If you are under the age of 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.
