Lyric writing with Tom Newlands
Wednesday 31 January 10am-1pm
or
Saturday 3 February 11am-1pm
Bethlem Gallery
Expand your creative practice through lyric writing, with a view to producing a finished work that might be recorded as part of the Bethlem Live Lounge exhibition taking place later this year.
These free workshops will look at how we can elevate everyday experience through words, and make our writing memorable by experimenting with figurative language and rhythm. We will look at successful storytelling in a wide range of modern music and discuss the lyrics we love. All levels of experience welcome and no musical training necessary.
This workshop is running twice so please only book one session.
