Creative Writing and Performance Workshop
Saturday 22 July, 2023
Bethlem Gallery
11am-1pm
‘Where do you go when you go Elsewhere?’
How do you get there?
What does ‘elsewhere’ mean to you?
Can performance and writing be a form of ‘elsewhere’ too?
Join Bethlem Gallery volunteers Ben and Georgina for a workshop exploring these questions/themes using performance and script writing.
During the session you will dive into script writing and improv/acting, drawing inspiration from your own imaginings of ‘elsewhere’ as well as responding to artworks in the current exhibition Elsewhere.
This is a fun experimental session and no prior experience in acting or writing is necessary, simply an openness to listen to others and take part in activities, should you like.
This event runs alongside the group exhibition Elsewhere which shows from 24 May to 9 September 2023. Scroll down to buy your tickets.
