We’re working on updating our shop
We want to make it easier to buy and sell artwork at Bethlem Gallery!
We are improving the art sales processes on our website and in our real-life shop at the gallery front desk. We plan to showcase a wider selection of our artists, make the shop easier to run for gallery staff and volunteers, and ultimately sell more artworks.
For the real-life shop, we will now hold a maximum of 3 artworks per artist. The artist can select which 3 works they’d like us to hold, give us new works if they’ve sold something, or replace one of their works if they’ve got something new. Not all works will be on display at the same time so that we can showcase as many artists as possible. We can only sell flat works at the front desk, eg on paper or board (no canvasses or framed works).
We also have a new selling space: The Rolling Shop. This is a small display unit built by our intern Milo, which will be used to display smaller items for sale. This could include books, bookmarks, postcards, small accessories such as jewellery, and lightweight 3D artworks or crafted items. The unit is on wheels so it can be moved around the gallery.
Gallery staff will be in touch with artists this summer to choose what works you want us to offer for sale, and to arrange returning any extra artworks we have.
The online shop will be relaunched in 2026 and we’ll let you know more about that soon!
Please get in touch with gallery staff via info@bethlemgallery.com if you have questions.
