Peter G. BallĀ
Peter G.Ā Ball (b 1950, Walthamstow, London) uses photography to explore ways of seeing. His work often includes architecture and performance, and he processes the imageĀ as a way toĀ share his lived visual sensory experience ofĀ AuDHDĀ (the intersection of Autism & ADHD).Ā
Peterās photographic process is entirely digital,Ā almost alwaysĀ shot hand-held on a full frame mirrorless camera, usually with autofocus, but otherwise completely manual. Each individual frame is saved with high dynamic range (the difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the image). Editing the raw photographs nothing isĀ added,Ā however information is removed as he pushes and pulls the dynamic range, colourĀ spectrumĀ and perspective.Ā
He has exhibited at: Honeywood Museum, Carshalton (CAOS 2023), RiffĀ Raffs, Croydon (2023) Bethlem Art Fair (2023 & 2024), Velum Mill Gallery, Carshalton (CAOS 2024 & 2025), Bethlem Founders Award Winners 2023 (The Long Gallery, Maudsley Hospital 2025),Ā lāEcluseĀ 62 Ć Ā Ouges, near Dijon, France (2024) and Laban Dance Centre, Deptford (2025).Ā
This event is part ofĀ Photo Bethlem 2025.
