Join Jess Murrain – actor, filmmaker, poet, and Creative Future writer-in-residence – for a writing workshop on Saturday 21 March.

This workshop will explore the poetic possibilities around the current collection exhibition, and the various voices that can emerge when writing in response to a work of art. Above all, the workshop will be a welcoming space for everyone- centring collaboration, playfulness and collectivity.

The workshop is open to all levels of experience and ability.

All materials provided. Tickets for this workshop are free of charge, generously supported as part of Creative Future’s writer-in-residency programme. Please note, adding a donation does not count as a ticket – please book a General Admission ticket to secure your place at the workshop. Thank you for supporting the Gallery.

This workshop accompanies the exhibition The Places We Know: Selected Works from the Bethlem Gallery Art Collection which shows until 11 April 2026.
