Artist and exhibition co-curator Halimah Zakiuddin presents a workshop inspired by Pat Mear’s artwork Puzzled, Safe Inside a Jigsaw Puzzle World. 

Drawing on ideas around safety, familiarity, and through mixed media techniques (painting, collage, and writing), Halimah aims to take participants through identifying and visualising ‘the places we know’ through the process of creating a work of art.

About Bethlem Gallery workshops

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Concessions are available for SLaM service users, people over 60, students, people receiving ESA, people registered disabled and their carers. We often take photos at our workshops to use on social media – please speak to the facilitator if you do not want to appear in any photos.
