Join us for a free, drop-in workshop to create your own work on paper cups, inspired by the work of Eddie.

In response to Eddie’s on-site interventions, ‘Untitled Head Drawings’, 2023 make your own work on paper cups in this drop-in workshop on the grounds of Bethlem Royal Hospital.

Eddie is a prolific artist who draws daily on anything at his disposal, often to give away to staff and patients at Bethlem Royal Hospital. The drawings are people around him and those he thinks about whilst listening to music on his headphones. The faces often belong to the same individual who he attempts to capture differently each time he paints them. Eddie leaves cups with flowers and messages around the site as an act of kindness to bring joy to people.

About Bethlem Gallery workshops

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Concessions are available for SLaM service users, people over 60, students, people receiving ESA, people registered disabled and their carers.
