About the site

The Bethlem Royal Hospital is set in 240 acres of stunning grounds with bluebell woods in the spring. Usually, visitors are welcome to enjoy our orchard and meadow walks, and, on advertised days throughout the year, the Occupational Therapy Walled Garden is open to the public. We hope that the grounds will reopen as soon as Covid restrictions allow.

Since February 2015 the Gallery and Museum has been situated under one roof in an impressive listed deco building at the front of the site. Admission free.
