Working with Beckmead Trust Schools: In Pictures
As part of our events for the The Big Draw 2022, we’ve been collaborating with local schools to get their input and help with designing our workshops.
The photographs below are from workshops with students from Beckmead Park Academy and Chaffinch Brook School, part of the Beckmead Trust. Beckmead Park Academy is an all-through, mixed SEN school situated over four sites in the London Borough of Croydon. Chaffinch Brook is a primary and secondary for pupils diagnosed with ASD (Autistic Spectrum disorder) and associated mental health needs.
The sessions were facilitated with the help of artist Yas Martinez. Our Studio Lead, Amanda Glynn commented; “It was an absolute delight working with them and their teachers. The Head of Art, Thulani, participated and is to thank for making this collaboration go ahead.”
