Meet at the Bethlem Gallery and Museum foyer
Join Bethlem Wood Library on a walk to the beautiful Bethlem meadows to take part in a meadow vegetation survey. Make use of the lenses, identification books and the knowledge of local amateur botanist, Peter Robinson, to record the incredibly diverse grasses and flowers growing on the hospital site.
Bethlem Wood Library is part of Bethlem Gallery’s Mental Health and Justice invited artists programme. Their work is concerned with perceived value, access to resources and the intrinsic link between the two. ‘The Bethlem site is a huge, unacknowledged resource.’ This survey is part of a larger programme to identify and document the resources.
Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing! Meet in the foyer of Bethlem Gallery and Museum.
This event is free but numbers are limited so please let us know if you cannot use your booking so that we can make it available to others.
Bethlem Gallery’s Mental Health and Justice project is funded by Wellcome.
